It's Spring, Get To Work. Your Boat Needs You!

Well, it's spring time here in Virginia. And time to see how the boats did over the winter. It's amazing how fast they age and need some TLC from just sitting. With that said, here is what happens when that Spring time clean up just kinda gets put off a week or 300.... Thanks to Jim Staib at Fine Wood Boats Enjoy. And get to work, your seams are splitting!

  1. I bought a Century that looked like the mossy one in the first picture, but it was green indoor-outdoor carpeting all on the decks.

  2. Matt - that U 22 might just be the project you're looking for. From a practical perspective, it is your dream boat, isn't it? Just think how she'll lok when it's finished.

  3. After your are done with the boat, the trailer is going to need some attention and you will have to deal with the state to register a boat with no papers. It is a hobby that keeps you busy.

  4. There is a fine line between dream boat and nightmare! I love the Custom Rivera shot with the moss. That one should be a claender shot.

  5. Hmm, my eye tells me that the "moss shot" is of a Custom rather than a Rivera due to the bubble butt transom.
